This scheme is centred around creating a much stronger relationship between the existing bungalow's and the garden. This involved an extrusion of the existing building and the addition of a new wing. The new wing provided large areas of glazing as well as a covered patio area further blurring the garden boundary.

The sustainable material conservation and reuse of the previous masonry cottage at our East Yorkshire Passivhaus site in Carnaby is continuing at a rapid rate, with thick monolithic walls of locally sourced chalk carefully harvested for reuse as the new outer skin of our proposed eco-home.
