Sited in the flat paddock landscape of Tunstall, South Holderness, The Cats Whiskers is a purpose built luxury 5 star cat hotel.
The facility provides a range of feline suites facing out across the coastal landscape with external play areas and stepped terraces catering to the guests' love of climbing. The cattery also provides an office, kitchen and meeting room for the owners.
The quality of light in the building is maximised through an array of rooflights and tall windows which also provide ample ventilation. The external face of the hotel is clad in Siberian larch horizontal boarding which provides a unique tone and finish to the property.
The cattery was designed as a lightweight timber frame in order to accelerate the construction process which was completed in 3 months.
The Cat's Whiskers opened in 2013 and continues to be a tremendously successful business.
